A bird list for  Trust land now appears under What we protect > Wildlife

The canalside bushes are full of little birds at  moment, principally a band of Long-tailed Tits which roams up & down, trailing Blue, Coal & Great Tits, Goldcrests and even a Treecreeper!

Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Redpolls & Siskins are passing through, along with the occasional Brambling, recognized by its loud, buzzing call.

Song Thrushes, which tend to keep under cover, have begun to sing.
